Life at NAHL Group Plc

At NAHL Group, we encourage our employees to bring their most authentic self to work. We value the different perspectives and life experience that each employee brings, and we are proud of our safe and inclusive culture.

Alongside our work, day to day life at NAHL Group is both fun and rewarding. The contact centre runs regular incentives, we celebrate and recognise important events throughout the year and give back to the community through volunteering. Food is the way to our hearts (and wallets) here, and with former chefs and expert bakers in our ranks, we often hold bake sales and foodie events to raise money for charity. It is important that our employees are kept up to date with company-wide activities, so we hold regular in-person or virtual business updates throughout the year, including ‘One Team’ conferences at National Accident Law and ‘Communi-cake’ at Bush & Co. This, along with our ‘fit for work’ initiative, keeps our remote and office-based employees connected with their teams and the wider business.

Social events

We might have a mix of remote, hybrid and office-based workers, but we always find ways to get together, whether for a business update or to recognise our achievements and milestones. In September 2023, National Accident Helpline turned 30, which was the perfect opportunity for the teams to come together and celebrate, against a backdrop of a beautiful late summers’ day, live music and delicious food. Our end of year party and awards ceremony is a favourite amongst our employees, as we get to recognise individuals and teams for their contributions to the business. Awards up for grabs include People’s Choice, Manager of the Year and team awards which link back to our values – curious, passionate, unified and driven. We promise, it doesn’t get too competitive!

Your personal development

Our people’s development is our priority, and our internal training courses help our employees strengthen their skills and realise their full potential. Strengths, imposter syndrome and self-confidence training are popular, and run regularly throughout the year. Our yearly Pathway to Leadership (P2L) course gives current and future leaders the tools they need to manage their teams, think like a leader and take part in a charity fundraising challenge. P2L has been a huge success and almost 70% of graduates go onto positions of greater responsibility in our business. Our Commercial Leadership Academy develops existing managers, exposing them to director activities and allowing them to present new business ideas. And finally, we utilise available legal and customer service apprenticeships, and other accredited courses to support our employees with their career development.
